Classes Start in Angers

The first day of classes started today - Documentary photography and French II. French was a little rough as we were asked to write 25 sentences about ourselves in French in order to be able to take the class. Luckily I think everyone managed. Our photogrpahy professor is also in that class too with us. It was very tricky even after that too. We were asked to solve a crime scene involing a burglary in someones house. The hardest part about it was due to the fact the professor could only help us comprehend the story in French. As a group we had to gather information from the text to help understand the words and what was actually going on. This took 2 hours. The sentences took 1 hour. Exhausting but I think it will get better.

Apres les cours, I headed down to Daniel’s Bar and had a pizza and pint with Sarah and Marleigh. Can’t beat 2 euro pints compared to the other 4 and 5 euro prices.

Documentary photography was afterwards, and as a whole we just broke the surface of the class and reviewed some classic photographers. Went by quickly though. Image editing makes time fly. Lasted 3 hours. On next Tuesday we have our first out of three Apple Final Cut Pro Certification lessons. Each lasting 7 hours. I am happy to finally learn more of Final Cut.

Headed back to Daniel’s Bar to have a drink and relax after class. The weather got cooler pretty fast and soon after it was a downpoor. Luckily it was after we had made it back to our rooms.

Picked up a baguette, and made another sandwich.
What really sucks is that around 6 p.m the sun comes into my room pretty intensely and I just so happened to leave my delicious milk chocolate cookie biscuits out in the spotlight of sun. I just now opened them and the chocolate was completely melted and stuck to the platic covering.

This photo below is the second panorama from the bay in Penvins. It was a very beautiful site, and hard not to shoot a lot of photos.

There will be newer photos tomorrow, I am taking the whole day to shoot for the documentary.

Au revior!
