Quiet in Angers

The streets in Angers were quiet today. Walking through the centre-ville with Sarah and Marleigh, a few shops were open here and there, but for the most part, it seemed like a ghost town. I think it was a holiday of some sort, but not quite sure.

Tomorrow I start my French class as well as my photography class. Each class 3 hours long, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. It will be a busy next six weeks, but I look forward to it.

It feels strange being scoped out as outsiders when walking through the streets. It seems that people inevitably stare at you for a few seconds. It’s unconfortable at times.

Baguette + ham + turkey + cheese x 2 = meals for the day. Very inexpensive here and much more fresh tasting.

More photos of Angers to come.

The sunset is Angers is beautiful. I will try and post one up soon.
