Penvins/Brittany - France

Today, I woke up at 6:30 a.m in Angers, France and shortly after, left on a day trip to Penvins/Brittany on the West coast of France. I did not get home until 11:15 p.m. and I am completely exhausted.

Penvins is a beautiful place. The people are pleasant and nice. The environment is quaint. It is simple. How it should be.

Skipped some rocks and explored the coast line, picking up shells, mussels, calms, and abilone relics along the way.

At first, when we arrived on the coast at about 10:20 a.m., it was raining significantly hard and made it hard for myself and the other 13 photographers in the group to shoot any photos. The first couple hours consisted of purely hiking. The tide was coming in as we were there, and it would be high tide in the late afternoon.
It was a special day there, our guide referred to it as “The day”, what I mistaked for “D” Day due to his French-English accent.
“The Day” is the day where all the boats in the harbor all gather together in celebration and at 2:00 p.m. all anchored in the marina for a even bigger celebration.
It was truly an amazing site.

I am exhausted beyond belief and am going to finish a glass of wine and go to bed.
More to come tomorrow.

The song below, I think, is a perfect song to comemorate the day.

-Christian
